One Down, One to Go!

The crosshead element of the Sierra #3 project is coming to a close.  Today the Engineer’s side was installed, and the Fireman’s side is nearing completion!  Next week we’ll be conducting a “in-house” hydrostatic test to repair any leaks caused by drilling for mounting studs.  This is in preparation for what will hopefully be the final hydrostatic test conducted by the Federal Railroad Administration official in early March.
